I was actually surprised by how much I liked this. I felt bad for the storks and for the main characters. They each had something they needed and didn't realize until the end that what they needed was right in front of them. The stork, so sensitive and kind, couldn't fire the girl so he gives her a fake job until they go on an adventure to deliver a baby. Storks deliver packages now instead of babies. I know so crazy right? just watch. It is cute, heart warming and funny as heck. Definitely perfect for family movie night. I love the idea it portrays that not all families are alike and even blended family is still family. Family is what you make of it and your family is important.
1.)Cute, creative and action packed. My girls love it. Not sure, but I actually think it's easing the mind of my adopted daughter. She knows she's Okay, I don't have a "tiny thing" at home, but I loved this movie (yes, a grown man can enjoy the silliness of a cartoon from time to time). This movie had fun and silliness written all over it. Someone posted it was better than Zootopia, I second that thought. Loads of fun for the whole family plus a great message. Funniest scenes were with the Wolf Pack........just plain HI-larious!! Rent or buy, have fun with it...you'll thank me later.
2.)Lately I've become a bit of a movie snob and have relied heavily on Rotten Tomatoes for deciding what I will and wont watch. If you're like me then you know that it doesn't have a great score--a meager 63%. I'm so gl
ad that we watched this. It's voiced by Andy Samberg who brings all of his experience from SNL and Brooklyn 99 to his character. The storyline is great and has some decent substance for an animated movie. We actually watched this twice, once with my fiance and myself, and the second time with a group of friend. Everyone (all adults) loved it both times. It was just as great the second time around! Definitely considering buying it!
3.) The endless classic tale of how storks bring babies to families. The plot the storks stop delivering babies due to a mistake. They start delivering packages instead. No offense amazon but amazon packages was the first thing I thought about haha! Anyway they get a baby have to get her to the family. I watched this with my two year old and six year old both were intrigued the entire movie. This is saying a lot since my two year old doesn't watch anything for more than 15 minutes tops. The movie has many cute family messages about spending time with your children even when your busy, valuing friendship, valuing hard-work and valuing family. In addition that its never to late find your way or to go home. We all had tears in our eyes. My six year old literally said "mom I'm crying and they are for happy tears." Its a really cute sweet movie and one that you would love to watch over and over with the kids. The babies are just adorable with their chunky faces and big big doll baby eyes. If your on the verge of wanting another baby well this movie will definitely make you want to hold babies. It also makes you laugh at times as a parent for things babies do. Over all its a real five star movie.
