Ironside Season Three
1.) Description (Editorial Reviews)
From his uniquely equipped office at SFPD head quarters, Chief Robert T. Ironside (Raymond Burr) continues to lead his special police unit fighting crime that others cannot. His crack team includes Sergeant Ed Brown (Don Galloway), ex-con-turned-assistant Mark Sanger (Don Mitchell) and policewoman Eve Whitfield (Barbara Anderson).
2.) Special Features
My grandma & I watched both Perry Mason and Ironside, when they came out, it's nice to know, that both are on disc. I had trouble saying good bye, to the old paddy wagon, it was classy, indeed. But, enjoyed seeing the new van, & Ironside, himself, all decked out, hooked up. I say this with particular appreciation, given, to the way, that it's decked out with radio equipment. As a ham operator, I paricularly liked the episode:
1.)It was like going back in time and visiting an old friend. Memories came flooding back and it was so enjoyable to sit back and watch the shows. Picture quality was perfect and the sound and formatting was just right. Having been a victim of someone who sold me a cheap bootleg copy, it was nice to have the real thing.
2.)I have always been a Raymond Burr fan. My husband and I like to watch DVDs of old TV series rather than anything that's on TV now. So we are collecting the "Ironside" series. We enjoy the shows for the stories and also for the settings and wardrobes that were popular in the 60s.
